| I washed and waxed the Z Sunday, it wasn't all that bad but I had time. I took it in the dealership for an oil change b/c I wanted to test drive the 2007 350Z, it's a nice car but I honestly like the Z32 better. Anyway, I'm waiting for the mechanic to pull up with my car and I'm surrounded by 10 guys going on how beautiful the car is and one guy said "I've worked here 10 years and I've never seen a Z in that color." Next I stop by a tire place to get a quote and the tire guy says what kind of car "I said '93 300ZX and I know the tire size." Guy said "I'm sure you do but I still want to see it because I love that car and I haven't seen one in years." They were really busy and I was on a bit of a tight schedule so I went to another tire place. The second place I went to had the tires I wanted and the guy I bought the tires from peppered me with questions about the car and kept going on and on about it and asked if the color was original (yes it is) and he's never seen one in this condition before. Don't get me wrong I loved every second of it lest I sound like I was bothered. :) Lastly, I'm getting gas and two guys walk up and asked about the car, same deal. I felt like a celebrity today, I honestly had no idea people were still interested in this car, I've always loved the car and I thought people's fickle passion for the car moved on years ago. Glad I was wrong! :)
